Terms of Service
Last updated: August 5, 2026
The Service
TikTap is a free, browser-based tool. You paste a link to a video that already exists on a third-party platform (such as TikTok), and TikTap helps you save a copy of that video in its original format. No account, no sign-up, no installation.
No Hosting, Caching, or Storage
TikTap does not host, cache, store, or redistribute any video, audio, or image files. Media is fetched directly from the original platform at the moment you download it, and nothing is kept on our servers.
Your Responsibilities
Use TikTap only for content that you own, that you have permission to download, or that you're allowed to download under fair use or other applicable law. You are responsible for what you do with the files you save.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use TikTap for:
- Bulk scraping of third-party platforms
- Reselling content
- Redistributing content that belongs to someone else
No Warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranty. We don't guarantee that it will work at any given time or with any given video. Third-party platforms change frequently, and those changes can cause parsing or downloading to fail at any moment.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The date at the top of this page is the effective date of the current version. By continuing to use the site after changes are published, you accept the updated Terms.
